DBC ’26 WILDCARD SUBMISSION

This is the 6th edition of the Delhi Beatbox Championship. After 5 successful solo category competitions, we’re excited to introduce the TAG TEAM category for this year’s Championship. Check the rules and regulations regarding the wildcard submission below and complete your submission using the form link at the end.

​📅 Submission Timeline (For SOLO & TAG-TEAM CATEGORY)

​Start Date: 1st May
​Deadline: 30th May, 11:00 PM

🎥 Video Requirements

​Platform: Upload your video to YouTube.
​Hashtag: Include #DBC26 in the description.
​Video Title Format: [ARTIST/TAG TEAM NAME] | DELHI BEATBOX CHAMPIONSHIP 2026 | #DBC26 Wildcard.

SOLO CATEGORY

Duration: Approximately 1 minute 45 seconds total.
Introduction: 15 seconds
Beatboxing: 1 minute 30 seconds

TAG TEAM CATEGORY

Duration: Approximately 2 minutes 15 seconds total.
Introduction: 15 seconds
Beatboxing: 2 minutes

​🎙️ Audio & Recording Rules

​Raw Files: You must submit your raw camera and microphone recordings along with your YouTube link.
​Simple Setup: If you recorded directly through your camera/phone (without an external mic), just submit the YouTube link.

⚖️ Judging Criteria

​Entries will be scored out of a total of 50 points based on the following five categories:
​Complexity (10 Points): This covers your technical skill level and your ability to stay musical.
​Structure & Composition (10 Points): How well your routine is built and organized.
​Execution (10 Points): The cleanliness of your sounds and the quality of your overall performance.
Originality (10 Points): How unique and creative your sounds or patterns are.
Subjectivity (10 Points): The judge’s personal impression and the “X-factor” of your performance.

🗓 No Date Extension

30th MAY 2026, 11 PM is the last day.
There will be no extension of the deadline for the wildcards. Any wildcard not submitted via the Google Form by the specified date and time will not be counted.
Uploading your video to YouTube before the deadline does not qualify as a valid entry if the form remains unsubmitted.

​🏆 Selection & Fees

SOLO ​Qualifiers: A total of 30 beatboxers will be selected from the wildcard entries (joining 2 pre-qualified artists).

TAG TEAM QUALIFIERS: 4 TAG TEAMS will be selected from the wildcard entries.

​Registration Fee (SOLO) : Only the Top 32 qualified beatboxers are required to pay a registration fee of Rs. 500 to enter the Championship Round.

​Registration Fee (TAG TEAM) : Selected top 4 TAG TEAMS are required to pay a registration fee of Rs. 800 to enter the Championship Round.
