One of the fastest-growing communities, Delhi Beatbox Community is the most active beatbox community in India. Our primary goal is to bring attention to this niche art form and push it into the mainstream. With more than 300 artists in the community who share a common language—beatboxing—and a shared goal of unlocking this art form’s true potential, we are making strides. From online community events to offline shows and competitions, we do it all.

The Delhi Beatbox Community (aka DBC) sprung up as a community with the rising influence of hip hop/youtube culture and is an integral part of a larger Indian Beatbox community. As a community, the goal has always been to ‘level up’ in terms of skill, sharing ideas and helping each other organize battles/competitions to raise a larger platform for upcoming beatboxers.
We’ve held many formal/informal meetings, jam sessions and live battles as a community. For example, our jam sessions in Connaught Place & Satya Park have been quite successful in our early days; leading to our flagship Delhi Beatbox Championship competition, where budding beatbox artists from across the nation gathered to participate!
Through platforms like WhatsApp & Discord, the community has maintained to stay connected in order to keep our beatboxing passion alive. Recent collaborations with hip hop collective SpitDope Inc. have been some of our most successful stories.
